Drilling holes in concrete and brick without water cooling, i.e., in dry mode, is becoming increasingly popular. This type of work generates a large amount of dust.

Connecting a vacuum cleaner to the drilling machine solves the problem of dust removal. For this purpose, the MECHANIC DrillSTREAM 1 1/4 UNC x M18 dust collector is used. The collector is installed between the drilling crown and the shaft of the diamond drill. If necessary, the connection adapter 01419031021 1 1/4 UNC (internal) x M18 (external) is used.

The dust collector is equipped with a rubber seal (guide) that allows the vacuum cleaner to connect to different shapes and diameters of attachments. The airflow passing through the drilling zone cools the diamond segments and removes debris, increasing drilling speed and extending the tool's service life.

Using a vacuum cleaner during dry diamond drilling allows holes to be made even in rooms where renovation work has already been completed.

The collector works best in combination with ADTnS RS-TX diamond cores, which are designed for dry drilling on machines with a micro-percussion function.
